He has been a photographer at the top of his profession for a long time. He mainly does portraits of families and children in his studio in Belfast.
PORTRAIT SITE All the work on this site is from his personal artistic work and shows his love of a wide variety of subject matter and techniques. As a Master Black and White darkroom printer he still specializes in B&W but now utilizes the power of the computer to achieve his Fine Art Prints. The computer has also allowed Gerry to explore many more techniques, he has a love of Screen Prints and Japanese woodcuts which have influenced the styles of many of the Artworks you see on this site. He has been awarded many awards and is a Fellow of each of the 4 main photographic bodies in the Uk and Ireland. Over the last few years he has had 8 pieces of his art accepted into the prestigious Royal Ulster Academy of Arts in Northern Ireland. His work hangs in many private collections throughout the UK Europe and America. He has had a number of one man shows and also taken part in many group exhibitions.
